Cervical Spondylosis

It occurs due to degeneration of ligaments, bones and inter vertebral disc between the cervical vertebrae of spine. It causes neck pain, stiffness of neck, vertigo, headache etc. Manya Basti (मन्या बस्ति), Nasya (नस्य), is the line of treatment for Cervical Spondylosis.

Lumbar Spondylosis

It occurs due to degeneration of ligaments, bones and inter vertebral disc between the lumbar vertebrae of spine. It causes back pain, stiffness, tingling sensation & numbness in lower extremities etc. Agnikarma (अग्निकर्म), Basti (बस्ति), Raktamokshan (रक्तमोक्षण) is the line of treatment for Lumbar Spondylosis.

Sciatica

It occurs due to compression of sciatic nerve from herniated disc or osteophyte. Patient experiences radiating pain from back to foot. Agnikarma (अग्निकर्म), Basti (बस्ति) and Pinda sweda (पिंड स्वेद) can be useful in treating Sciatica.

Pott's Spine

Potts spine is tuberculosis of spine mainly affecting the thoracic and lumbar vertebrae. The infection causes destruction of vertebrae and inter vertebral disc and sometimes abscess formation as well. Oral medications, Lepa (लेप), Panchakarma (पंचकर्म) can cure this disease.
